June 12, 1978...

In the "I Love Lucy" episode "The Million Dollar Idea" (1/11/1954) it is revealed that Lucy has overspent once again.  When talking to Ethel she says that she has used up her allowance until June 12th.  Upon hearing this statement Ethel comments that the date isn't so bad.  Lucy then replies "June 12, 1978..."

"Hart to Hart" - August 25, 1979 - May 22, 1984

 "Hart to Hart" starring Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers as Jonathan and Jennifer Hart began on this day forty-two years ago.  The series ran for five seasons, 110 episodes, ending on May 22, 1984. Wagner and Powers returned for eight made for television movies between 1993 and 1996.  Lionel Stander who played majordomo Max on the original series reprised his role until his real life passing on November 30, 1994.  His final appearance in "Hart to Hart: Secrets of the Hart" aired on March 6, 1995, three months after his passing.
