Good Times, Great People, Excellent Programs

 I am ending the month of June with a tribute to one of the best friendships in television history.  Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance worked together on multiple projects between 1951 and 1977 and they never missed a beat. credit goes to the rightful owner or owners of these photos.  many of them came from my collection but thank you to anyone else that deserves credit for these wonderful photos.

  Happy Sixty-Eighth Anniversary! Ricky buys Lucy a new washing machine and sells Fred and Ethel their old one.  The battle begins when the washer malfunctions...and gets even more complicated when Mrs. Trumbull's nephew Joe wants to purchase the old washer for fifty dollars.

 Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford as George and Louise Jefferson...they first appeared on "All in the Family" and then starred in "The Jeffersons." In this photo they appeared together for the final time at the TV Land awards in February 2004.  Isabel Sanford would pass away a few months later on July 9, 2004.  Sherman Hemsley passed away on July 24, 2012.
