Erica Durance made her first appearance as Lois Lane on "Smallville" in the fourth season premiere.  She became the fourth actress to play the role on television following Phyllis Coates then Noel Neill on the "Adventures of Superman" and Teri Hatcher on "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman."
