"I Love Lucy" - "Paris at Last" - February 27, 1956

 Celebrating the 67th Broadcast Anniversary of this classic episode!

Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel arrive in Paris and Lucy wastes no time getting in trouble - she is tricked by a con artist who sells her a painting, she crosses paths with a counterfeiter and accidentally orders snails for lunch.  When she tries to pay the restaurant bill with the counterfeit money she ends up in jail.

When Ricky arrives to help her, there is a communication problem.  In order to solve this problem a lot of translating goes on.  The sergeant only speaks French, the other cop speaks French and German, another prisoner speaks German and Spanish, and Ricky speaks Spanish and English.  It is a wonderful scene.
