"The Honeymooners Specials" - "Christmas Special" - December 10, 1978

 Ralph and Alice, Ed and Trixie tried to get rich quick for the final time on this day forty-four years ago.  Ralph uses everyone's Christmas money to purchase lottery tickets in hopes of winning a million dollars.  He wins $1,500...unfortunately he spent $1,499.88 on the scheme and walks away with $0.12 in winnings.
