 "Make Room for Daddy"/"The Danny Thomas Show" September 29, 1953 - Happy 69th Anniversary! "Uncle Daddy" Danny Thomas and Marjorie Lord as Danny and Kathy Williams During the show's first three seasons it was called "Make Room for Daddy" and the title changed at the beginning of season four to "The Danny Thomas Show."  After season four the series moved from ABC to CBS.  Jean Hagen played Danny's first wife Margaret from 1953 to 1956 and then left the series.  Danny Williams spent some time as a widower before meeting Kathy O'Hara (Lord) and remarrying. The series also featured Rusty Hamer, Angela Cartwright, Hans Conried, Sherry Jackson, Penney Parker, Louise Beavers and Amanda Randolph. Several actors made recurring appearances on the show.  The list includes Sid Melton, Pat Carroll, Mary Wickes, Sheldon Leonard, Pat Harrington, Jr., Gale Gordon, Jesse White, Bill Dana, Annette Funicello and Piccola Pupa.

 In the season four opener of "Smallville", actress Erica Durance made her first appearance as Lois Lane, a role she would play until the series concluded in 2011.  She became the fourth actress to play Lois Lane on television following Phyllis Coates and Noel Neill on the "Adventures of Superman" (1952-1958) and Teri Hatcher on "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" (1993-1997)
