Dwayne Hickman (1934-2022) played Dobie Gillis for four seasons beginning in 1959.  The series produced 147 episodes.

The cast also included Bob Denver, Frank Faylen, Florida Friebus, Sheila James, Tuesday Weld, Steve Franken, Doris Packer, Jean Byron, William Schallert and Raymond Bailey.
