"The Sopranos" - "Proshai, Livushka" - March 4, 2001

 The third season of "The Sopranos" opened with the death of the evilest mother that was ever on television, the sinister Livia Soprano.  Her portrayer Nancy Marchand, passed away in real life and the character passed away as well.
