"The Golden Girls" - "Dorothy's Prized Pupil" - March 14, 1987

 In this episode, Dorothy (Beatrice Arthur) becomes close to a student, Mario (Mario Lopez), whom she is tutoring in English.  When she enters his work in a local writing contest everyone is thrilled when he wins first prize.  Sadly, this alerts the authorities, and it is revealed that Mario is in the United States illegally.
