"Newhart" - October 25, 1982 - May 21, 1990

 Bob Newhart returned to weekly television as Dick Loudon the author of several "how to" books who, with his wife Joanna (Mary Frann), purchase the Stratford Inn in a crazy little town in Vermont.

The series also starred Tom Poston, Julia Duffy, Peter Scolari, Steven Kampmann, Jennifer Holmes, William Sanderson, Tony Papenfuss and John Voldstod.  Character actors William Lanteau, Thomas Hill, Linda Carlson, Ralph Manza and Jeff Doucette also appeared on a recurring basis during the show's eight season run.
