"Make Room For Daddy" - "The Danny Thomas Show" - September 29, 1953 - April 27, 1964

Jean Hagen played Danny's first wife Margaret for the first three seasons of the show.  When Hagen quit the character was killed off and Danny married Kathy O'Hara in 1957.  Danny's two children Terry and Rusty were played by Sherry Jackson (later Penney Parker) and Rusty Hamer.  When Kathy joined the family she brought along a daughter, Linda, from her first marriage who was played by Veronica Cartwright.  Louise Beavers and later Amanda Randolph played housekeeper Louise.  Hans Conried made frequent appearances as the eccentric Uncle Tonoose.  

The series was entitled "Make Room For Daddy" from 1953 to 1956 on ABC and then from 1956 to 1957 on CBS.  The title changed to "The Danny Thomas Show" at the beginning of the 1957-1958 season and remained until the series concluded in 1964.
