In Lucille Ball's third weekly television series she starred as widow Lucy Carter with Gale Gordon playing her brother-in-law and boss Harrison Otis Carter.

In the series Ball's on screen children Kim and Craig were portrayed by her real life children Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr.
