90 days

So yesterday, July 6, 2010, Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail to be followed by 90 days of rehab. The jail sentence comes after violating many portions of her probation after her 2007 DUI.

I know I am probably in the minority on this but I feel so bad for her. She is such a great talent and she is going to waste it if she continues on this horrible path. People are saying that jail isn't the solution....well I don't know if I agree with that. This girl needs to be cut off completely. And she needs to be taken the hell out of Hollywood! She should be put in a jail in North Dakota or some other state where there can be a total cut off from Hollywood. I don't disagree that rehab is necessary so she can break the addictions to alcohol and/or drugs but I am also a person that is totally pro "law & order." If she broke the law then she must pay her debt to society. A stern wake up call is desperately needed for this girl. Once her debt has been paid she can work on cleaning up her inner demons and hopefully go on to revive her career.

Given the right role she can still do something wonderful...she is only 24 years old for crying out loud! She has plenty of time to get her house in order and then continue. So while I don't think that this 90 day sentence is wrong I do think that it is sad. I am not afraid to say it, I am a Lindsay Lohan fan and I want her to succeed. Her great talent and beauty is being wasted...
